Latina Equal Pay 💵 Activist Monica Ramirez (activistmonicaramirez) is dedicated to raising awareness and fighting for pay equity for all Latinas who currently earn 54 cents to every dollar a white, non-Latino man makes, according to the Equal Pay campaign (equalpay2dayorg) . Through her work with Justice for Migrant Women (mujerxsrising), she’s advocating for continued awareness of the different pay gaps affecting all Latina in different industries. She discusses how discrimination and lack of infrastructure are barriers that Latinas face.
