During the 2022-2023 dairy farmer crisis, with rising feed costs, inflation, and extreme weather taking a toll, many California organic dairy farms faced severe financial challenges. We stepped up by raising pay prices by 8% and advocating for government relief, ultimately helping secure a $100M USDA package to support farms nationwide. On the employee side, our new creamery has created a safer work environment, with a recordable incident rate less than half of our previous facility.
