Jeremiah 29:11 isn’t about you. It’s one line from a letter that God gave to The Israelites in a time of despair. It displays that He is a covenant keeping God and that He fulfills His promises… but your future may not align exactly with this verse. And that’s okay. As a new covenant believer we have plenty of other promises given directly to us- one of which being the gift that is Romans 8:28. In this, we know that God uses even the hardest trials in our lives for our good and His glory. The same God who made the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 to the Israelites is the same God who makes this promise to you.
