This custom 1979 @ford Bronco Ranger XLT Chromatic Free Wheeling Edition is owned by Julian Carr, a professional skier who has been featured in eight Warren Miller films, has two world records and an X-Games Gold Medal, was the recipient of a George Mallory Lifetime Achievement Award and is a Ford Bronco Ambassador. It was built by Vivid Retro Customs, based in Lakewood, CO, and underwent a two-year full frame-off restoration. Power comes from a Gen 2 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine mated to a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission with a manual-shift rocker switch. The powertrain includes a PBH Performance accessory drive system, PBH Performance ECM and harness, Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a transmission cooler with an electric fan.
