This 1957 @Chevrolet 150 is a re-creation of the legendary “Black Widow” – Chevrolet’s factory-backed @NASCAR entry that set the racing world on fire in 1957. Powered by its matching-numbers 283/283hp fuel-injected V8 engine paired with a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission and posi-traction differential, this example reflects the exact high-performance formula that earned the “Black Widow” its reputation. Equipped with Bendix power brakes, radio and heater delete, vacuum wipers, painted steel wheels with small bright hubcaps and a split bench seat, it wears a striking two-tone black and white finish over a black and gray vinyl interior with tinted glass – the look that made these cars famous on the track. This car has undergone a comprehensive frame-off restoration, showing limited miles since completion. It has been displayed at the 2006 Meadowbrook Concours d’Elegance, is a multiple award-winner, and is accompanied by a binder of photos, magazines and documentation. Learn mo...
