On September 18th one of my best friends jordanhall_wx and myself booked tickets to an island we had never heard of, or even knew existed ahead of Super Typhoon Ragasa. An island so small, you have to zoom all the way into Google Maps to even see. With high confidence of an impact we booked our tickets 8 hours before takeoff. Not knowing what to expect being in a foreign country all the way across the world for the first time, we were nervous and didn’t know what to expect. What we got however wasn’t just a storm to chase. What we got was a hidden paradise in plain sight and memories I will cherish until the day I die. The amount of love, and warm welcome we had in the Philippines was nothing short of incredible as the island welcomed with open arms.
