An historic update today! The NWS in Grand Forks has upgraded the Enderlin, North Dakota tornado to an EF5 packing winds over 210mph! This is the first officially EF5 to strike the United States since Moore, Oklahoma 2013 and just the second ever to strike North Dakota. The other being Fargo 1957. 15 years of storm chasing and I finally notched the EF5 scale into my belt. Sadly, with violent tornado comes violent consequences as this tornado after causing EF5 damage to train cars, charged towards a home and absolutely obliterated it.
