Russell Tovey recently spoke about filming the 'very involved' s*x scenes in his film 'Plainclothes'.
The film, which was released in September, is set in 1990s New York and centres around an undercover police officer who is tasked with entrapping gay men, only to find himself drawn to one of his targets.
Speaking about the role, Tovey said: “It’s a very powerful film about how we police our feelings and what shame does, and a matter of timing.”
On filming s*x scenes with an intimacy coordinator, Tovey said: “They choreographed something with us. It just felt like an absolute safety net for us to be exploring.”
“It just gave us the framework to be free and feel safe." He continued.
