plz watch the whole thing bcuz it clarifies a lot of coconut oil & hair porosity confusion! do you have to use coconut oil? no. and I don’t always use it myself. I usually use garnier or Ogx oils just because getting the product out of those bottles is much easier than getting coconut oil out of the container. however, I wanted to make this video because coconut oil is affordable, widely available across all countries, and works just as well for protecting high porosity hair while washing as the main oils that I use. it is also versatile! I do oil pulling a few times a week with coconut oil. there are a million different things you can do with it beyond hair care.
