🐹❗️ Kia has officially confirmed that the 2025 model year will mark the end of the Soul’s production in the U.S., ending a 15-year run of its iconic boxy crossover. The Soul was once one of Kia’s best-selling models, moving over 1.5 million units since launch, but sales have dropped significantly in recent years. The decision to discontinue the Soul stems from declining demand for small hatchbacks and Kia’s shift toward higher-margin SUVs and EVs. By 2024, Soul sales had fallen around 14% compared to the prior year, and only about 41,000 units were sold by mid-2025. The Soul was also the cheapest Kia model, starting at roughly $21,935, meaning its removal leaves no low-cost entry vehicle in Kia’s lineup.
