Simon Längenfelder Provides an Update After the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations: “It’s a shame to finish the year like this” Team Germany looked good on Saturday in the qualifying races at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations when Ken Roczen got second in the MXGP qualifying race and Simon Längenfelder got fourth in the MX2 race. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the weekend for the team. In the start of the first moto on Sunday, Längenfelder went down in the first turn and got ran over by another rider. His day was over, which was a tough blow for Team Germany. Roczen had crashes in both motos and had to fight through the field as he finished 12-18 in his motos. The third German rider, Maximilian Spies, finished 22-30 in the Open Class. Overall, Team Germany finished 15th in the team scoring.
