This month we are honoring 75 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Indonesia while hosting an
#ivlp group of young professionals from Indonesia, who are traveling across the country and learning about the political, social, and economic relations between our two nations.

This group has had wonderful professional meetings and has also experienced American culture through three holidays during their three week stay: Halloween, Election Day, and Veterans Day.

Election Day gave the group a chance to explore the shared democratic values of the U.S. and Indonesia. The group visited a polling site in New Hampshire during the afternoon, and attended a non-partisan watch party at a local college in the evening. They spoke with supporters of various candidates, and watched Americans engaged in the civic responsibility of voting. Enjoy the photos from their experience that day.
