While I was traveling to Atlanta for Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s #HYMNS tour, I received the news that my brother had passed away. I’ve been waiting and planning for months to attend this tour. She’s my favorite gospel artist. Had I received the news before I left, I would’ve cancelled my plans. You never know what someone is dealing with internally. My excitement had unexpectedly turned into sadness & sorrow. This concert ended up being the worship experience that I didn’t even know I would need. The timing was just wow. Before my brother passed on, one of the last posts that he liked was one that I wrote on Facebook about being on my way to finally hear Tasha Cobbs Leonard live in concert. Although I wasn’t able to enjoy the experience as originally planned, I am glad I was there. It felt like I was exactly where I should be at that moment in time. God knew I would need it. I can now mark it on my bucket list that I attended a live Tasha Cobbs Leonard performance. Row AA, Seat 1… smack ...
