This is the future First Lady of Kettering. Campaigns are tough. Not just busy. But tough. Tons of meetings. Tons of events. Volunteers to support. Signs to put out. Not even mentioning the anxiety that comes with the anticipated mud slinging. This week I have 3 events. Maybe 4. And two nights away in Columbus for training as a city councilmember. Through it all. Stacks of signs in the foyer. Incomplete calendars on the fridge. Ten minute dinners before I head out again. She is there. Smiling. Also. She’s encouraging me. Grounding me. Praying for me. Taking care of me. When the city elects me Mayor in 26 days they get her too. And that’s pretty great for all of us. #votesuddith
