Day 6: h2o.man continues his march toward Russellville and victory in this year’s race. It appears he’s wrapped something (maybe more spare clothing) in a shirt to support his head. Despite all of this, he was moving pretty well on good roads, but taking it easy on the gnarly stuff. The good news for Jacob: he’s just about done with the gnarliest stuff. As of this post he’s just under 80 miles to the finish and is about 97 miles ahead of roadsandwich. I also caught up with the lone woman in the field, keanders11, this morning. She was looking fresh and strong after a long sleep in Conway last night. She now finds herself in fourth place overall.
