2 hours of the Rosette Nebula, captured by a RASA 11” telescope. This nebula is one of the most beautiful jewels of the night sky. It’s mostly red because of its dominant hydrogen alpha composition. I used a normal one shot color astronomy camera (OSC) with no filter. For the record, it was freezing that night, with a recorded temperature of -12 degrees Celsius.
