Art as a Vehicle for Hope. * During our last Expression From the Inside workshop led by Cecilia and the Ladies of the Arc, young artists explored the Theme of FREEDOM and what it means to them through creativity. One driving force behind Expression is the concept that you can paint or sculpt not only what you see but also what you feel. Guided by questions, reflection & conversation, the students were invited to create their own artwork based on the theme of Freedom.  Bele made a sculpture entitled, “Heart of Freedom,” Zoey made a  painting entitled, “My Power.
