Happy Father’s Day Daddy. I sure do miss you. Our long talks, your good ol’ country wisdom, your heart of gold, your corny jokes, your love of family, how you still called me ‘baby’ and ‘darlin’ and ‘hunny’ even after I was grown, your vast knowledge of southern cooking, your amazing food, also your vast knowledge of the word of God, I could really use that about right now, your hugs, the way you always always always smelled amazing. But most of all I miss you, and your undying and unconditional love, and the privilege of loving you back. My wife and kids sure do love and miss you, and they never even got to meet you, or know you. I tell them all the time how much you would have loved and adored them. I know my sisters, Rhonda Holly and Savanah Blackburn ,would really love to spend some time with you too, I know you and Mama, and Cody are up there havin’ a blast, and soon, in the twinkling of an eye, I know, we’ll see y’all again, and we’ll have all the time in the world.
