@Glossier’s new Cloud Paint Plush Blush immediately prompted Christina to ask about the difference with @Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush. Both have mushy textures, one made in Italy and the other in Korea. Now, Korea technically started mushy blushes in the market with its unique texture story, and now we see Italy adapting and hybridizing with their power in powder and pigment to create their own version, which is what we see in Glossier’s new launch. Both formulas are great! But do have distinctive, unique characteristics. Specifically, Rare Beauty is more wet, but glossier gives off more pigment. Both beautiful and also user-friendly. this is one I would definitely encourage you to watch side-by-side so you can tell the unique characteristics, and sensorially identify the texture differences between the two and the amount of pushback you get side-by-side!
