Gavin Hardgrave, an associate sales engineer for lab sponsor Zebra Technologies, worked at the lab for four and a half years before graduating from Auburn with a degree in Information Systems Management. When asked what specific skill he gained from the lab stuck out to him, Gavin said "Problem solving. A lot of the stuff you have to work on there is not always a guide on how to do it, so you have to use all your resources and figure it out." As a long time member of the lab familiar with the RFID industry, Gavin's advice to students entering the work force is to "make sure you use your connections to help you," and that "it's okay if you do not know everything, no one expects you day 1 of your job to solve all the companies’ problems." The Auburn RFID Lab would not be what it is without Gavin's contributions, and we are so proud of his continued success in the industry!
