Before joining Carter’s as a Senior Manager of Retail Growth Initiatives, Gina spent a year and a half at the Auburn University RFID Lab while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Merchandising. Following her time at the lab, she continued to advance her career at Carter’s and went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech.
Reflecting on her experience at the lab, Gina shared that the most impactful skills she developed were "flowchart making and symbology," noting, “I use them frequently when documenting processes.”
Gina also offered valuable advice to students preparing to enter the workforce: “Have a positive attitude and stay curious! A can-do attitude will take you far in the beginning years of your career. Ask lots of questions and be confident in what you know and what you don’t know.”
Everyone at the RFID Lab is incredibly proud of Gina’s accomplishments and looks forward to seeing all that she continues to achieve in the future.
