Our next #WhyMoody feature is Tina Carter, another of our rockstar academic advising coordinators! A utaustintx alum, Tina started working for UT in 2007, completed her Master’s in 2014, and has worked at #TEXASMoody for almost five years. Fun fact: She was also a student athlete and was part of three Texas Women’s College World Series softball teams. She was inspired to pursue higher education because she wanted to be a guide to students as they navigated their undergraduate journeys. Her favorite part of working for Moody is her teammates! “They truly care about the students and each other. We are a well-oiled machine, not only taking care of our students’ needs but also picking each other up with no hesitation. One of the best teams I have been a part of.” Tina’s favorite spot at Moody is the DMC lawn to get a bit of nature during the day, and even though she’s not a coffee or tea drinker, you can find her sipping a Diet Dr. Pepper.
