Breast cancer hits close to home for the Swinney family. Kathleen Swinney’s sister, Lisa, was first diagnosed in 2003 and bravely battled the disease for years. She later discovered she carried the BRCA gene mutation and urged Kathleen and their younger sister to get tested too. That decision may have saved their lives. Lisa’s cancer eventually returned and spread. She passed away in 2014 at just 49. Today, the Swinneys pour their hearts into breast cancer initiatives in her memory by funding research, supporting early detection, and helping families in the fight. They are passionate about finding a cure while making things a little easier for the families currently in the battle. Lisa’s strength and story continues to inspire them in the fight against breast cancer. 💗 #ALLIN #T4T #BreastCancerAwareness #MakingADifference
