“I feel an overwhelming sense of pride to be representing the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate as part of this powerful team of Native women. To step into New York City, a place I’ve always longed to visit, is nothing short of a blessing.” In just under a month, Patricia Roth will visit New York City for the first time and make her 26.2-mile debut at the 2025 #TCSNYCMarathon. Patricia is running with native_women_run, an organization dedicated to empowering Native women throughout the United States and Canada. Patricia represents the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribe, located in the northeast corner of South Dakota. "Running alongside this team is not only a personal accomplishment but also one of my most meaningful achievements. It represents both a step forward and a call to continue uplifting Native voices in areas where they have long been absent." Let’s show Patricia some 🧡💙🩷 in the comments and wish her the best of luck at the 2025 #TCSNYCMarathon.
