Another Earth? Not quite. 🧐 Astronomers using @esawebb just took a closer look at TRAPPIST-1 d — a rocky, Earth-sized planet orbiting a small red dwarf star 40 light-years away. It had all the right ingredients on paper: the right size, the right distance, maybe even liquid water. But Webb’s ultra-sensitive instruments found no signs of an Earth-like atmosphere.
