One word to describe México: food❗️ Ok, you can find food and good food in many parts of the world, but México is the only place I’ve been to where GOOD food is present in every single corner 24/7. From the ladies cooking enchiladas in their garage, to taquero frying tacos in a stand in the middle of the road, to the restaurant selling pozole blanco at midnight. Even the dead return to the land of the living once a year to eat their favorite food. The gastronomical food tradition of México isn’t new, pre-Hispanic cultures ate chapulines (grasshoppers), escamoles (ant’s eggs) and guacamole.
