Europe’s natural beauty shines bright 🌍
This 24 May, on europarc_federation’s European Day of Parks, we’re celebrating the incredible preserved areas that stretch across our continent — from the volcanic heart of Lanzarote to the lush forests of Madeira, from snow-dusted peaks in Italy and Romania to the shifting shores of the Frisian Islands.
Thanks to views from the iss and Copernicus Sentinel satellites, we can see just how interconnected these landscapes are — and just how vital it is that we preserve them, together.
Because preserving nature doesn’t stop at park borders. It’s about partnerships — between ecosystems, people, and even satellites orbiting far above.
Let’s keep working together for nature — today and every day.
