Happy Europe Day from orbit! 🇪🇺 Each year on 9 May, Europe Day offers a moment to reflect on peace and unity across the European continent. While we’re not part of the European Union, we work closely with EU institutions — and most of our offices are based in Europe. To mark the occasion, enjoy this collection of breathtaking images captured by our astronauts aboard the iss, soaring high above the continent — from snow-capped mountains to glowing city lights and vivid coastlines. Are you somewhere in Europe? Say hello in your language in the comments below 👇 📸 europeanspaceagency / NASA - astro_alex_esa 📹 ESA/NASA - thom_astro
