In 2014, @astro_alex_esa, @NASAastronauts Steven Swanson & @astro_reid, and Roscosmos cosmonaut @olegmks had a splashing good time exploring the fascinating physics of water in microgravity. Here’s what they tried: - Dropping an Alka-Seltzer into a floating water bubble (cue the fizzy fun!) - Blowing air into it with a straw (bigger, wobblier, better!) - Dipping their hands inside (turns out, water in microgravity gets sticky!) But beyond the fun, there’s a serious message: water is a finite resource on Earth.
