On Friday May 30th, after 5 years of battling stage 4 breast cancer, God has called our baby sister home. She crossed over surrounded by the people whom loved her the most. Though I am angry and heartbroken, I will no longer question God why. I ask God to keep my faith strong because in all honesty I’m lost. I don’t understand. Baby girl, the pain we feel is unbearable and unexplainable. I find myself reading our recent text messages because in the midst of doing so, it feels like I still have you here in this world. What gives me some comfort is knowing you’re no longer in pain nor hurting. You fought an amazing fight up until the very end and you smiled through it all. You’ve done such an incredible job raising your boys and know that they will always be surrounded by nothing but love and support. Remember, it’s not a goodbye but a see you later.
