Sometimes you need to take a step back to admire a stunning achievement, like the launch of this powerful European rocket. An incredibly complex and impressive machine at the forefront of what is technologically possible, with almost zero margin for error. Today’s spectacular first launch of #Ariane6 puts Europe back into the game of flying its own large missions to space. It includes an innovative upper stage that can be re-ignited several times to bring various satellites to different orbits – and to the Moon. 👏     Working together across a multitude of Member States and Stakeholders in Europe is not always easy, but because of that, the outcome is even more so inspiring.
