The removals come just one day before the weekend-long festival is set to begin at Queens’ Citi Field. ____________________________________ According to the @nytimes, NYPD requested that organizers remove Bronx’s #ShaEk and #RonSuno, as well as Brooklyn’s #22Gz from the lineup and the festival complied. ____________________________________ This isn’t the first time that NYPD requested to remove performers from the festival. Back in 2019, five drill rappers were removed from the setlist including #Casanova, #PopSmoke, and #SheffG.
