🛰️From filing for radio frequencies to registering a satellite… these steps may sound like red tape, but they underpin safe, secure, and sustainable space activities. 📜 This week, we held a landmark joint #UNOOSA and International Telecommunication Union (ituofficial) workshop “From an ITU filing to registration with UNOOSA – The life cycle of a satellite”, which enhanced international expertise among regulators, space agencies, diplomats, and experts. 📡 Day 1 demonstrated how States file for a radio frequency slot with the ITU, avoid interference in orbit, and prepare for regulatory evolution.
