🚀 The 64th Session of the Legal Subcommitee (LSC) of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space launched today.  Chair Santiago Ripol Carulla from 🇪🇸 Spain welcomed the Subcommittee’s 104 member states and 56 permanent observers, as well as six ad-hoc observers: 🇱🇮 Liechtenstein, 🇲🇹 Malta, and 🇺🇬 Uganda as well as the League of Arab States, Aces Worldwide, and the Lunar Policy Platform.  The LSC will address vital topics such as: space traffic, space resources, space law, lunar activities, UNISPACE IV, space debris, information-sharing, and the registration of space objects. 📢 🇺🇳 In her opening remarks, Director Aarti Holla-Maini said: "The space sector at large looks to COPUOS for critical guidance and is watching to see if COPUOS can indeed deliver multilateral solutions to address current needs and priorities.  Your discussions on Space, are reaching a watershed moment.
