🇪🇨 🌌 #UNOOSA welcomes Ecuador as the 7️⃣7️⃣th State Party to the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space (Registration Convention). This is an important milestone towards ensuring safe and sustainable uses of outer space. 🛰 Adopted in 1974, and entered into force in 1976, the Registration Convention requires countries to establish a National Registry of Space Objects and officially register their space objects with the United Nations.
