🌌🚀👨‍🚀 At Number 5️⃣ of the #UNOOSATop10 highlights of 2024, we’re giving a shout out to the work of our Space Applications Section (SAS), that has delivered capacity-building workshops, launched strategic partnerships to help developing countries access space, and conducted exciting experiments. Here’s a few highlights from 2024: 1️⃣ 🇻🇪 A team from Universidad Central de Venezuela won a Fellowship Programme opportunity to carry out a combustion test in microgravity, which helped understand the effects of microgravity on the welding of aerospace aluminium alloys.
