It was a busy week for the WMO delegation at #UNGA! From attending the Climate Summit, foreignpolicymag's Health Forum, wedonthavetime0's "The Climate Hub", to countless other bilateral and multilateral meetings. Here are a few of the things we got up to 👇 ✅ Participated in the Climate Summit Solutions Dialogue to advance #EarlyWarningsForAll, especially on extreme heat ✅ Our Secretary-General Celeste Saulo participated in Foreign Policy's Health Forum to underline the importance of WMO's work in facilitating the sharing of data to be one step ahead of risks ✅ Highlighted WMO's contribution to global well-being and security As Secretary-General Celeste Saulo said, WMO has good news to report: "Early warnings are saving lives". More than 60% of countries now report having Multi-Hazard early warning systems. Now, with two years left to reach the goal of the EW4All initiative, it is time to close this gap.
