1. You don’t need that many electrolytes 🧂- You don’t even need them all the time, especially now that the days are getting colder. However, race day and big efforts are different. I’m confident that most people don’t—and if they do they’re lying—check the sodium level in their diet before they start running. I just did it for the first time last month, and I’ve been running like this since July 2023. I say this because you should really audit everything you’re consuming before you decide to throw in another gram of sodium.
2. You’re not undertrained, you’re underconfident 🧩 - Stop convincing yourself you “didn’t do enough.” For what it’s worth, you probably did. As long as you complete 80% of your workouts, you’re in great shape. The problem isn’t your fitness. It’s your brain’s refusal to believe in it.
