My first and most likely only marathon, thoughts, advice & my experience…
1) find a training plan & you give yourself time to prep. I had about 13 weeks to prep, not ideal but that’s what it was.
2) learn & get your mistakes out of the way. I went for a 16 mile run one day with no water & only a baby food, I know not smart, but I learned ASAP. Picked up a hydration pack & snacks that afternoon. I would eat every 30-40 min & used that strategy for race day.
3) fuel your body & fill the gaps as much as you can. Daily bubsnaturals Collagen Peptides for my joints & ligaments.
