The BBC has temporarily paused two of its internal staff training courses focused on transgender and LGBTQ+ issues. The two courses, called 'LGBTQ+ Allies' and 'Trans Insights', have been paused while the broadcaster investigates how it should use the word 'sex' following the recent UK Supreme Court ruling. A spokesperson for the BBC confirmed: "We are not rowing back on our inclusivity training – we have simply paused two of our courses while we await final guidance from the Government following the Supreme Court ruling.
