The actor who played Freddy Krueger in the original 'Nightmare on Elm Street' movies has spoken about Krueger's sexuality. Speaking specifically about 'Nightmare on Elm Street 2', Robert Englund said: "I think Freddy Krueger is asexual, and I think that's probably one of the things that fosters his anger and his revenge and his original crimes."
