A haka broke out during a meeting of New Zealand’s Parliament this week after new member Oriini Kaipara finished her maiden statement – her first address to Parliament. People in the galley joined in on the haka, which is a traditional Maori dance. MP Kaipara is a member of the country’s Maori party, Te Pati Maori.
