We got married following one of the toughest seasons in each of our lives. All we had was a vision and the work ethic to back it up. So, we said ditch the wedding and Nicole’s Uncle married us (in our tiny apartment!) … then we put our blindfolds on and *Got To Work* Delayed gratification is a huge reason why we have the choices that we are so blessed to have. We get to spend the best of our days together … just as we said we would over 10 years ago. If we had it, the wedding would’ve happened. So, this is NOT a “don’t spend your money on a huge wedding” post. It’s a DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS REAL post. It’s okay to make decisions that people don’t fully understand…. As long as they are aligned for YOU.
