Yesterday I was talking to one of my best friends. He is serving life in a NY State prison. With one minute left on the call, he said that he was proud of the man I’ve become. His words made me smile but they also made me sad. I really be feeling guilty for being the one amongst my brother and so many of my homies that have had the opportunity to change and grow. I get a lot of praise for how I move and carry myself - for the way I provide for, protect, and serve my family. The man I am today, the pure fact that I am even alive and free to do what I do is a testament to God’s grace!! I never ever lose sight of that. I thank Him Every. Single. Day! Please know... when God has a plan for your life nothing or no one can stop Him. He will take you from where you are to where he wants you to be in what will appear to others in no time.
