On the last day of school, Josiah was overwhelmed with the emotions that came with saying goodbye to his teacher and friends.
Growing up in a ‘boys down cry’ environment - one of the most challenging parts of raising a king was understanding it’s okay for my son to be in tune with his emotions. And that he needs just as much of my patience, affection, and reassurance as my daughter does.
There is nothing wrong with crying as a boy or a man. No matter what we were raised to believe, it’s not a weakness. It’s a sign of strength and courage. Crying is healing for our souls.
I’m so proud of Josiah! He’s one of the smartest, coolest, kids I know. A loving big brother, serving son, and little leader. He’s been blessing me as a son from day one!
