One of the biggest challenges I had as a father was slowing down. I’m from Brooklyn where we move quickly. When the twins were old enough to ask to come with me - I would always explain how I will be in and out or back real fast... that they wouldn’t even miss me. But they did. A lot. And I started to realize I was missing out on time with them in this season when their awe and wonder were at an all-time high. My little people want to do everything with me. Yes, I can do things without them much faster but I’m so grateful I realized early and slowed down. Now I let them ride out everywhere I go and help me with everything. Each tasks takes a little longer but life is a lot better.
