Costumed brigades of protesters were out in force again Friday night at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in South Portland, and at about 7 p.m., they rolled out a red carpet for an actual wedding. The bride, resplendent in a unicorn outfit, and the groom, dressed as Kenny from South Park, tied the knot in front of a crowd of about 30 onlookers, some decked out in Care Bear and pickle costumes. The couple said they’d known each other for two decades, started dating more recently, and decided to get hitched on site to bring some joy and fun to a dark time.
