🤍Today marks my mom’s 16th heaven anniversary. 🤍 This day is forever imprinted in my mind and in my heart. Some days it hits hard, some days I’m okay, and today, I’m just mellow, neither sad nor entirely happy. She was my best friend, and when she left, my heart carried so much pain. Over time, I’ve realized that if she were still here, I might have still been her caretaker, and I’m grateful to God for allowing me the space to live my life fully. As an only child from a single-parent home, that was a lot to navigate. I miss her deeply, but I find comfort in our spiritual connection because she makes her presence known, and I always feel it. To anyone who has lost a mother or parent, I see you and understand your pain.
