Last season, Seth Jarvis’ childhood friends went all-in to support him. Driving 30 hours from Winnipeg to Boston and to watch him capture gold with Team Canada at the 4 Nations.
During the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they did it again. This time making the 25-hour trek to Raleigh to cheer him on with the Hurricanes.
Jarvis, in the second year of his $63.2M contract, makes sure their loyalty doesn’t go unnoticed:
“I’m cutting them some cheques… They’re on the payroll. They get taken care of.”
