A Reform UK councillor was reported to police after she said "born and bred" in an interview. Police Scotland were investigating Claire Mackie-Brown over alleged "hate crimes" after appearing in an interview on STV. The investigation has since been dropped. Reacting to the clip, comedian Alex Stein couldn't believe that the councillor even apologised after saying she was "born and bred" in the area. Speaking to Ben Leo on The Late Show Live, he said: 'Britain is cooked. I hate to say it... Can you imagine that we live in a world where a woman has to immediately apologise for just saying that I was born and bred here? Where are we at in society?' #ReformUK #Scotland #AlexStein #BenLeo #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Support GB News by becoming a member from just £5 per month: gbnews.com/support
